At VideoToScreenshots, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. What We Collect
This policy covers the VideoToScreenshots website and our iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux apps.
We never collect, upload or store your videos or screenshots. Frames are extracted on your device, and your files and file names never leave it.
If you sign in (optional): your name, email address and a user ID, used to run your account and to unlock Pro on every device. If you answer the short optional survey after signing up, we store your answers (such as your occupation and main use case).
If you buy Pro: your purchase history (plan, dates and status). Payments are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe; we never see your card details.
From everyone, automatically: how features are used (for example which buttons are tapped), crash reports, an analytics device identifier, and an approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP address. This is used for analytics and to fix bugs, not for advertising.
2. Who Processes It
We use these service providers, which process data only on our behalf: Google Firebase (sign-in, database, analytics and crash reporting), Google Analytics and PostHog (website analytics), RevenueCat (app purchases), and Stripe (web payments).
We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. Cookies
The website uses cookies for analytics and to keep you signed in. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
4. Data Retention
We keep account and purchase data while your account exists. Analytics and crash data are kept according to our providers' retention settings. Your videos and screenshots are never stored by us.
5. Your Rights and Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page.

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
